The radial menu was way more convenient, but honestly this isn't a completely kill for me. I tend to use the regular thin option plus occasionally the highlighter. Huh, I actually hadn't noticed that you could not longer change the pen options. What do you all think about the changes to the OneNote modern app? Do you like it better now or wish they'd give us the radial menu back? It's seriously making me consider rolling back to Win8.1Pro I never thought a change to a piece of software would make me so annoyed, but I guess this is it. It just made taking notes and swapping colors and doing simple operations in full screen tablet mode so much easier than the full fledged OneNote 2013.

I actually used the modern version of OneNote the most because of the radial menu. In terms of issue #1 above, I'm sure it's a bug that will get fixed soonish, but issue #2 is just shockingly terrible, IMO. Has anyone else run into these issues? Are there workarounds? The color picker is also totally different and less flexible. This is a huge disappointment for me because there's literally no (obvious) way to change the pen inking thickness-it's stuck in "thin" mode. The pre-installed/modern version of OneNote has changed drastically and now doesn't have the radial menu (which pops up in the upper right corner when you hover the pen). No matter what, the top button now only opens the modern version. The "Surface" app from the MS app store still allows you to choose whether the top button on the Surface Pen will open the pre-installed/stripped down OneNote or the full on desktop version of OneNote 2013. Just upgraded to Win10 yeseterday and was so far enjoying the changes to the OS (so far), but then I made a very grim discovery when I needed to jot down some notes.
